Assessment 50+ Pilot Project for job seekers in Canton Aargau successfully launched
In May 2012 Canton Aargau began implementing the newly developed project “Assessments 50+”.
An Assessment 50+ has been developed in Canton Aargau in the framework of an overall concept for the support of job seekers aged 50 and over. The goal is to determine the employability of job seekers of 50 + as soon as possible after the start of their unemployment, and based on this to develop the best individual strategy for rapid reinsertion into the job market.
The choice of subsequent supporting measures can thus be defined in order to advise and support the job seekers in the most effective way.
In addition to self-developed evaluation tools the Employability Change Check forms the core element in the Assessment 50+. The deployment of this instrument has so far proved its worth all along the line. The individual interviews with the certified coaches are being received very positively by the job seekers.
